Digital Photography Workshop at the Bristol Workshops in Photography with Mark Abbott, next session: Sunday, November 4th, 11am-4pm This intensive one day course is for beginning to intermediate level. It explores the various aspects of digital technology involving the basics of using a digital camera, shooting raw vs. jpegs, understanding histograms, organizing files and storage with an introduction to Adobe Photoshop Elements, the digital darkroom. In addition, we will cover the basics of photography: exposure, depth of field, handling motion, the use of flash, etc. and how you can use these principles to make better photos. Weather permitting we will spend some time outside shooting and practicing what we have learned in class. Members of this workshop are expected to provide their own cameras.
