This weekend marks the start of the 2012 summer season at 2nd Story Theatre, and they’re opening with a most excellent play – A Few Good Men by Aaron Sorkin. The play tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, United States Marines accused of murder (Sorkin later adapted his work into a screenplay for the 1992 Oscar-nominated film starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and Demi Moore). The 2nd Story production, directed by Bryna Wortman, runs from Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 24th and all performances will be held in the courtroom of the historic Bristol State House on High Street.
